On a seasonally-adjusted monthly comparison basis, total production in the services sector remained unchanged in March after slipping by a revised 0.1% the prior month, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a monthly report.
The highest annual rise was posted in the output of accommodation and food service activities, at 9.4%, followed by information and communication with a 7.9% climb. In contrast, real estate activities registered a production decline of 5.7% on the year, while administrative and support service activities output fell by 4.5%.
In monthly terms, output in professional, scientific and technical activities grew the most, by 1.1%, whereas real estate activities production lost 2.9%.
