Albania’s power grid operator opens 2.3 mln euro supply tenders

June 14 (SeeNews) - Albania’s power grid operator, OSSH, said on Friday it has opened two tender procedures for the supply of wooden and concrete poles and electrical equipment for its directorate in Fier, in the central part of the country, with estimated budgets totalling 234 million leks ($2.5 million/2.3 million leks).

Of the total, 180 million leks have been earmarked for the purchase of 8, 9, 10, and 12-metre wooden poles, and 9, 10 and 12-metre spun concrete poles for the construction of low and medium-voltage overhead lines, OSSH said in a tender notice. Offers can be submitted until July 18.

As much as 54 million leks is the estimated budget for insulators, grounding electrodes, medium voltage fuses, medium and low voltage fuses, low voltage fuse bases and cartridges. The deadline for submission of bids expires on July 19.
