May 28 (SeeNews) - Albania’s information technology agency, AKSHI, said on Tuesday it has opened tender procedures for a project aimed at optimising the software and hardware components of the Albanian Notary Registry, with a budget valued at 268 million leks ($2.9 million/2.7 million euro).

Albania opens tender for notary registry improvement

The Albanian Notary Registry is a centralised database that maintains official records related to notarial acts performed by notaries public in Albania.

The project targets stronger security and integrity of the system, while also reengineering its work processes to current legislation, AKSHI said in a tender notice. Prospective bidders must be able to complete the work within nine months, and offer maintenance for two years thereafter.

Offers must be submitted until June 27.
