The benchmark index was constrained by a 3.03% fall in Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:CCB] to 1.60 levs and a 2.91% tumble in hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:MSH] to 10.00 levs.

The two companies also dragged down the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, by 0.34% to 168.28 points. The biggest loser in the index, however, was software and IT services group Bianor Holding [BUL:BNR], which shed 5.47% to 6.05 levs.

By contrast, the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, grew by 0.16% to 850.96 points. It was helped by diversified group Synthetica [BUL:SYN], which jumped 7.27% to 59.00 levs, and software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH], which added 3.65% to 0.995 levs.

The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, increased by 0.15% to 189.85 points on the back of a 0.81% climb in Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] to 2.50 levs.

A 3.31% gain in cargo drone developer Dronamics' special purpose vehicle Dronamics Capital [BUL:DRON] to 2.50 levs boosted the BEAMX. The index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, advanced by 1.14% to 102.32 points.

Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse leapt to 5.83 million levs ($3.19 million/2.98 million euro) on Friday from 2.02 million levs on Thursday.

Real estate investment trust (REIT) Premium Property Invest [BUL:CITP] generated the highest turnover of the day, at 3.28 million levs, after 2.93 million shares traded. The stock closed flat at 1.12 levs.
