May 23, 1997 - Serbia's postal operator JP PTT Srbija spins off its telecommunication services division into a seperate joint stock company named Telekom Srbija AD, based in the capital Belgrade.
June 1997 - JP PTT Srbija sells a 29% stake and a 20% stake in Telekom Srbija AD to Italy's state telephone company Societa Finanziaria Telefonica per Azioni (STET) SpA and Greek Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation (OTE) AE, respectively. The deals are worth a total of USD 997 mln.
1997 - Telekom Srbija AD sets up its Mobile Telephony of Serbia (MT:S) divison.
2003 - JP PTT Srbija buys back STET SpA's 29% stake in Telekom Srbija AD for EUR 195 mln.
Jan 19, 2007 - Telekom Srbija AD acquires the majority stake of 65% in its Bosnian peer Telekom Srpske AD from the Bosnian government for a total of EUR 646 mln.
April 2007 - Telekom Srbija AD and Dutch telecommunications company Ogalar BV establish the joint-venture Mtel DOO, based in the Montenegrin capital Podgorica and engaged in mobile telecommunications services. Telekom Srbija AD controls 51% of Mtel DOO.
Sept 24, 2010 - The Serbian government acquires 80% in the company.
July 13, 2011 - Telekom Srbija AD acquires 52% in HD-WIN DOO Belgrade for EUR 7.7 mln.
2012 - Greek telecommunications provider OTE sold its 20% stake back to Telekom Srbija for EUR 380 mln.
May 3, 2012 - The Government of Serbia transferred ownership of 6.94% of capital shares to current and former employees of Telekom Srbija, and 14.95% of shares to citizens of Serbia.
Jan 12, 2015 - The company acquires 55.8% in Dunav Banka AD for EUR 9.5 mln.
October 2015 - Telekom Srbija AD sets up a wholly owned subsidiary mts Sh.p.k. in Kosovo.
November 2018 - The company acquires a 100% stake in Serbia-based cable operator Kopernikus Technology DOO for EUR 190 mln.
January 2019 -Telekom Srbija AD buys a 100% stake in a local company Masko DOO.
Jan 6, 2019 - Telekom Srbija AD acquires a 100% stake in domestic cable operators Radijus Vektor DOO and AVcom DOO for EUR 120 mln.
July 2019 - The company buys a 100% stake in a local cable operator Televizija Telemark DOO.
