The decision was approved at the company's regular shareholders' meeting, with the dividend to be disbursed in December, RTV Pancevo quoted Telekom Srbija CEO Vladimir Lucic as saying earlier this week.

In June, Lucic told local daily Blic the planned dividend for this year will be the same as the one paid out in 2023.

Back in April, Lucic said that Telekom Srbija's net profit soared 156% to 34 billion dinars in 2023, with revenue rising 37% to 164 billion dinars, and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increasing 78% to 88 billion dinars.

The government controls 58.11% of Telekom Srbija, the company itself owns a 20% stake, current and former employees own 6.94% among themselves, while the remaining 14.95% belong to individual shareholders, according to data from the telco's website.
