The transaction took place on December 17, the Banja Luka Stock Exchange said in a statement published on its website on Monday without disclosing the parties to the deal.
Vodovod a.d. Banja Luka's capital is divided into 35,434,161 shares. By December 13 the biggest shareholders were the City of Banja Luka with a 65% stake, the manager of the state pension fund of Bosnia's Serb Republic, PREF, with a 10% stake, ZIF Kristal Invest Fond, which owns 6.03%, and the Restitution Fund, holder of 5.0% of the company.
The Serb Republic is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Muslim-Croat Federation.
