The SOFIX was buoyed by a 3.94% rise in First Investment Bank [BUL:FIB], or Fibank, to 2.64 levs. Additionally, Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:CCB] added 2.01% to 1.52 levs with 6,400 units traded.
Fertiliser maker Neochim [BUL:NEOH] was the top blue-chip loser, recording a 4.56% drop to 25.10 levs.
The BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, edged up 0.13% to 157.01 points. This was mainly on the back of a 5.63% jump in online casino operator Telematic Interactive Bulgaria [BUL:TIB] to 15.00 levs. At the same time, diversified group Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria [BUL:ZHBG] slid 6.98% to 0.12 levs.
The BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, barely scraped into green territory, up 0.02% to 781.23 points as it was weighed down by Neochim.
Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] sped up 1.69% to 2.40 levs in a trading volume of 7,624. On the back of that, the BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, went up 0.29% to 189.29 points.
The BEAMX index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, increased the most on the day, by 0.69% to 99.27 points. BEAMX was supported by a 3.10% growth in Dronamics Capital [BUL:DRON] to 2.99 levs as well as a 2.56% climb in Smart Organic [BUL:SO] to 20.00 levs.
With a trading volume of 6,733 shares, IoT devices maker Shelly Group [BUL:SLYG] was the day's most liquid stock. It generated 274,706 levs, closing 0.49% higher at 40.80 levs.
On Thursday, total turnover on the BSE grew to over 1.95 million levs ($1.1 million/997,019 euro) from 1.59 million levs the day prior.
