March 25 (SeeNews) - Serbian tyre maker Trayal Korporacija [BEL:TRAY] said it would to retain its 2023 profit of some 590 million dinars ($5.4 million/5.0 million euro).
Last year's profit will be used to cover loss from previous years, Trayal said in a filing to the Belgrade bourse last week, without elaborating.
The shareholders approved the decision to retain the profit at their meeting on March 20.
The company's shares did not trade on the Belgrade bourse in the past year.
Trayal reported an accumulated loss of 8.05 billion dinars at the end of June 2023. The company said earlier it posted a 122 million dinars profit for 2022.
The Serbian government became majority shareholder in Trayal in 2013, after cancelling a privatisation agreement with Bulgarian company Brikel.
