Serbian share indices close higher

BELGRADE (Serbia), December 30 (SeeNews) – The share indices of the Belgrade bourse closed higher on Monday while total daily turnover dropped, bourse data indicated.

The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange added 0.22% to 552.82 points after rising 0.47% on Friday.

The broader BELEXline index rose 0.39% to 1,090.91 after shedding 0.11% in the previous trading session.

The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna was up 0.67% in euro terms to 169.83 after falling 0.80% on Friday.

Total turnover fell to 14.3 million dinars ($172,000/125,000 euro) from 27.7 million dinars in the previous session.

Lender Komercijalna Banka [BEL:KMBN] generated Monday's largest turnover of 3.4 million dinars, closing 4.06% up at 1,462 dinars.

Confectionery maker Banini [BEL:BNNI] paced the session's gainers, adding 7.15% to 2,172 dinars as 37 shares changed hands.

Rubber and chemicals group Tigar [BEL:TIGR] led the decliners, losing 8.96% to 122 dinars in a volume of 362 shares.
