Romania's Vital invites bids for water/wastewater sys upgrades - TED

September 25 (SeeNews) - Romanian water utility Vital has called a tender for the rehabilitation of the water and wastewater system in the northwestern county of Maramures under a 35.5 million lei($10.2 million/7.9 million euro) contract, a notice in the EU's procurement journal indicated on Tuesday.

The contract value excludes value added tax.

The contract involves the rehabilitation of water and wastewater networks in the towns of Seini, Targu Lapus and Sabisa, the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) indicated.

The project also involves the rehabilitation of the water tower and water pump station in Seini and the construction of a water pump station and reservoirs in Targu Lapus, the notice added.

The project should be completed in 22 months. The deadline for placing bids is November 22.
