October 14 (SeeNews) - Romanian marketing company Mediapost Hit Mail, part of French group La Poste, said it has acquired 60% of the share capital of Romanian peer Ideologiq.
The company's two founders now own the remaining 40%, Mediapost and Ideologiq said in a joint press release on Thursday.

Ideologiq ended 2021 with a turnover of 2.2 million euro ($2.14 million), up 55% on the year.
The company's international presence is one of the reasons Mediapost initiated the transaction, according to the company's CEO. Ideologiq is active in markets across Romania, Moldova, Greece, Cyprus, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Hungary and Serbia.
"Ideologiq's presence in Greece, Croatia, and Serbia will make it easier for the companies in our group to carry out local projects. We are confident that Ideologiq will continue its rapid growth in the years to come," said Marian Seitan, CEO of Mediapost Hit Mail.
"The acquisition of controlling stake in Ideologiq is the first of a series of our acquisitions in Romania."
Mediapost Hit Mail is a Romanian direct marketing company established in 1997. Since 2009, the company has been a part of the French La Poste Group. In 2021, Mediapost booked a net profit of approximately 7.7 million lei ($1.52 million/1.56 million euro) and employed some 200 people, data posted on the finance ministry's website showed.
Ideologiq is a Romanian digital marketing and communication company, which operates in countries in Central and Eastern Europe, especially in Romania. In 2021, Ideologiq registered a net profit of approximately 1.1 million lei and had a team of 20 employees.
