January 29 (SeeNews) - Paper wholesaler Europapier Bulgaria has filed for approval by the competition authority for its planned acquisition of local commercial graphics consumables and equipment distributor Micro Asu, the regulator said on Monday.
The notified transaction is expected to impact the distribution market for visual communication print materials for outdoor advertising in the European Economic Area (EEA), the Commission on Protection of Competition (CPC) said in a statement, without disclosing details of the deal.

Interested third parties can submit comments on the transaction in the next seven days, the CPC added.
Europapier Bulgaria, founded in 2002, is part of Austria's Europapier Group, which operates in 13 countries across Central and Eastern Europe, its website shows.
Plovdiv-based Micro Asu, founded in 1993, is focused on selling visual communication materials. In 2006, Micro Asu set up a subsidiary in North Macedonia, Micro Asu Skopje.
