Croatia’s share indices end mixed, turnover more than doubles

February 9 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange ended mixed on Friday, when the regular turnover reached 1.9 million euro ($2.0 million) from just 724,000 euro a day earlier, bourse data showed.

The 20-share benchmark CROBEX gained 0.25% to end at 2,686.88 points.

The narrower equity index CROBEX10, tracking the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, dipped 0.02% to 1,606.42 points.

Food and pharmaceuticals company company Podravka [ZSE:PODR] generated the biggest daily turnover, 844,000 euro, as its shares fell 0.60% to 167 euro.

Preferred shares of power transformer manufacturer Koncar D&ST [ZSE: KODT2] were the second most traded stock with a turnover of 241,300 euro. They appreciated 1.51% to 1,010 euro following on the news that will deliver a power transformer to an unnamed Irish customer for a wind farm under construction.

Preferred shares of diversified holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] gained 0.67% to 60.40 euro in a turnover of 98,400 euro.

Shares of electrical concern Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] fell 0.94% to 210 euro in a turnover of 93,000 euro.
