December 6 (SeeNews) - Croatian state-run water management company Hrvatske Vode plans to invest over 2.0 billion kuna ($346 million/266 million euro) in 2013, government projections indicated on Thursday.

The company has earmarked 186 million kuna for water supply projects in Zagreb, Knin and Slavonski Brod next year, 118 million kuna for water drainage projects in Cakovec and Osijek, and 54 million kuna for the Sikirevci-Bicko Selo water mains project, a presentation on the website of the government showed.

A further 58 million kuna will be spent on drafting feasibility studies for projects that will apply for co-financing from EU funds.

Croatia will join the 27-nation bloc in mid-2013.
