The 20-share benchmark CROBEX fell 0.46% to close at 2,790.48 points, halting a seven-day winning streak.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, declined 0.51% to 1,665.31 points.
Zagrebacka Banka [ZSE:ZABA] was the most traded company with a turnover of 243,000 euro ($264,000) as its shares went down 1.32% to 18.75 euro. They are part of the wider index.
Exchange traded fund InterCapital CROBEX10tr UCITS [ZSE:7CRO] ranked second by turnover with 204,000 euro. The price of its units dipped 0.09% to 22.19 euro.
Preferred shares of diversified holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] declined 0.33% to 61 euro in a turnover of 177,000 euro. Earlier on Tuesday, Adris announced that that its consolidated net profit after minority interests rose by 3.0% year-on year to 62 million euro in 2023.
The biggest daily gainer was holding company Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH]. Its shares surged 18.80% to 27.80 euro, as 81 of them changed hands on the news that its consolidated pre-tax profit leapt to 6.2 million euro last year from 225,000 euro in 2022.
Shares of electrical concern Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] fell 2.29% to 256 euro in a turnover of 98,000 euro.
The regular turnover was 2.2 million euro, unchanged compared to Monday.
