February 27 (SeeNews) - Croatia's holding company Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH] said on Tuesday its consolidated pre-tax profit leapt to 6.2 million euro ($6.7 million) last year from 225,000 euro in 2022.
EBITDA totalled 9.4 million euro in 2023 and was higher by 4.3 million euro compared to 2022, Djuro Djakovic said in an unaudited interim financial report. EBIT rose to 6.8 million euro last year from 2.0 million euro in 2022.
Consolidated revenue increased by 28% to 106.6 million euro, whereas consolidated costs went up to 100.4 million euro from 83.1 million euro.
Czech company D.D. Acquisitions was majority shareholder of Djuro Djakovic at the end of the last year was with a stake of 81.90%. The Croatian government owned 17.88% and minority shareholders held a stake of 0.22% among themselves.
The holding company's subsidiaries manufacture cargo wagons, provide maintenance service of armoured vehicles, and supply equipment to the energy sector.
Shares of Djuro Djakovic were the biggest gainer on the Zagreb Stock Exchange by 1502 local time on Tuesday, trading 18.80% higher at 27.80 euro.
