October 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Breznik municipality said it awarded eleven contracts for water infrastructure works worth 5.2 million levs ($3.1 million/2.7 million euro) combined to local company Nivel Stroy.
The deals, all signed on September 2, benefit from EU financing, the municipality said in a notice published on the website of the public procurement agency on Thursday.
Nivel Stroy will be responsible for the construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of water supply networks on the territory of the municipality in western Bulgaria.
The tender for awarding the highest-priced contract, worth 1.13 million levs, attracted offers from two candidates. Price and quality criteria had equal weights in the overall ranking of the bids.
Sofia-based Nivel Stroy's main activities include the construction of water supply and sewerage networks, buildings and installations as well as road maintenance and construction.
