Bulgaria's Kristalna Voda lands 9.8 mln euro deal with Sliven water utility

October 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's ViK Sliven, the water utility company servicing Sliven municipality, said on Thursday that it has awarded a 19.1 million levs ($11.5 million/9.8 million euro) water supply and sewage infrastructure construction deal to local company Kristalna Voda.

The contract envisages the design an construction of 4,548 metres of water supply pipelines and 28,424 metres of sewage infrastructure, ViK Sliven said in a notice to the public procurement agency.

The deal was signed on October 9 following a tender which attracted two offers.

The project benefits from EU funding under operational programme Environment 2014-2020.
