Bulgaria’s Byala Slatina municipality seeks bids for water supply project – TED

October 9 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian municipality of Byala Slatina invited bids for an 18.23 million levs ($12.1 million/9.3 million euro) contract for water supply network upgrades, a notice in the EU's procurement journal indicated on Tuesday.

The value of the contract excludes value added tax.

The project involves the reconstruction and replacement of 9.38 kilometres of water supply pipelines, renovations on 10.11 kilometres of sewage network and the construction of a water treatment plant, read the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED).

Construction works are due to be completed within 22 months after the contract is awarded. The performance guarantee is set at 180,000 levs.

Bids must be submitted by November 25 and will be opened on November 27.

Byala Slatina is located in northwestern Bulgaria, in the Vratsa region.
