The wholesale price of gas for March is forecast to fall to some 58 levs ($32.05/29.65 euro) per MWh, Bulgargaz said in a press release on Wednesday.

At the start of February, Bulgaria's utilities regulator endorsed a wholesale gas price of 71.08 levs per MWh for the current month, which is 8.4% lower than in January.

Bulgargaz will submit its definitive price proposal for March on the first day of the month.

In January, Bulgargaz chose France's TotalEnergies Gas and Power as the winner in a public tender for the delivery of 1 million MWh of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in March.
