Bosnia seeks consultant for water supply/sanitation project - TED

BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 11 (SeeNews) – Bosnia’s Serb Republic has called a pre-qualification tender for providing supervision services for a water supply and sanitation project, the European Union's procurement journal reported on Tuesday.

The project will be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB), the Tenders Electronic Daily said in a notice.

The project refers to implementation of measures for the upgrade of water supply and sewerage infrastructure as well as to providing adequate water supply and wastewater collection and treatment in 23 municipalities in the Serb Republic.

Maximum budget available for the consultancy assignment, which is one component of the project, is over 2.1 million euro ($2.7 million).

Provisional commencement date of the 32-month contract is the second quarter of 2013. The deadline for receipt of applications is January 14, 2013.

The Serb Republic is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Muslim-Croat Federation.
