The decision will be made at a general meeting of warrant holders on December 12, the company said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.
Alpha Bulgaria issued a total of 194.89 million warrants, each giving its owner the right to subscribe for one new company share at 1 lev ($0.55/0.51 euro) in a future capital increase within five years.
As of December 5, the number of unexercised warrants stood at 177.75 million, the company said.
Alpha Bulgaria last increased its equity capital in October, by 13.82 million levs through an exercise of warrants. The company's capital is currently divided into 18.32 million shares of 1 lev in par value each, commercial register data show.
Shares in Alpha Bulgaria last traded at 1.84 levs on the BaSe market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
