October 11 (SeeNews) - Investment company Alpha Bulgaria [BUL:ALFB] said that it increased its equity capital by 13.82 million levs ($7.5 million/7.1 million euro) through an exercise of warrants.
Between September 28 and October 5, three warrant holders - local investment company Inter Finance Holding, Austria-based BGA Management GmbH and Bulgarian hotel and restaurant operator Saint Gabriel Resort - subscribed for a total of 13.82 million shares at an issue price of 1 lev each, equal to their par value, the company said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.
The company kicked off the capital hike process last month, offering up to 193.79 million common shares to its warrant holders.
Alpha Bulgaria's equity capital was divided into 4.5 million shares with a par value of 1 lev apiece prior to the capital increase, commercial register data show.
Shares in Alpha Bulgaria last traded at 1.84 levs on the BaSe market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
