February 14 (SeeNews) - Albania’s water supply, sanitation and waste infrastructure agency, AKUM, said it has signed a 617.7 million leks ($6.3 million/5.9 million euro) contract with local construction firm Curri for the the overhaul of the water supply network in the southwestern municipality of Patos.
Under the deal, Curri must complete the reconstruction of pipelines, pumping stations, family connections for multiple villages, electrical systems and related facilities, within an 18-month period, AKUM said in a notice earlier this week.
AKUM is financing the project through the state budget.
Founded in 1994, Curri is active in the design and construction of civil, industrial, tourism and agricultural projects.
