The carrier will receive another E190 aircraft from Bulgaria Air in June, with both aircraft to be operated under a wet-lease agreement, aviation portal Zamaaero reported on Tuesday.
Under a wet-lease arrangement, the lessor provides the aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance for the aircraft for the duration of the contract.
In February, Air Serbia cancelled a short-term wet-lease deal with Greece’s Marathon Airlines after an aircraft operated by the Greek carrier on behalf of Air Serbia was damaged.
