Air Serbia wet-leases 737-800 aircraft from KlasJet - report

February 22 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Air Serbia signed a wet-lease agreement for a Boeing 737-800 aircraft from Lithuania’s KlasJet, its third aircraft from the Lithuanian carrier, regional media reported on Thursday.

The move comes after Air Serbia cancelled its wet-lease deal with Greece’s Marathon Airlines after an aircraft operated by the Greek carrier on behalf of Air Serbia was damaged last week, news portal EX-YU Aviation reported.

All flights that should have been operated by Marathon Airlines are now to be operated by other aircraft in the fleet to maintain traffic continuity, Air Serbia said earlier this week.
