Air Serbia will cut the number of flights from Belgrade to Milan, Istanbul and Frankfurt, by three to four weekly rotations during March, while the service to Vienna will be reduced by two weekly flights, news portal EX-YU Aviation reported.

Air Serbia cancelled its wet-lease deal with Marathon Airlines last week, and quickly moved to sign a wet-lease agreement for a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with Lithuania’s KlasJet in a bid to maintain traffic continuity. The wet-lease agreement with Marathon Airlines was cancelled after an aircraft operated by the Greek carrier on behalf of Air Serbia was damaged earlier this month.
