In December 2023, St. Nikola produced 42,290 MWh of green power, AES Bulgaria, part of U.S.-based energy conglomerate AES Corporation, said in a press release.

The wind park on Bulgaria's northeastern Black Sea coast generated its highest-ever output in 2023, at 372,485 MWh, enough to meet the annual energy consumption of more than 100,000 Bulgarian households.

The onshore facility near the town of Kavarna was commissioned in 2010 and is equipped with 52 Vestas turbines of 3 MW each. The minority stake is held by German company Geo Power.
