BFA organizes a virtual conference on 24th November called “Bulgaria on the European Fintech Map” to introduce the Annual Fintech Report 2020. The report’s presentation will be followed by a discussion that aims to present the place of Bulgaria in Southeastern Europe, the implications of COVID-19 for the Bulgarian Fintech Sector and the current and future European Fintech Regulations.

The invited participants are both from the public and private sector – the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Bulgaria, the European Commission, European Digital Finance Association, Mastercard, Paynetics, Paysera, Bulgarian-American Credit Bank, etc.

For a second consecutive year, the Bulgarian Fintech Association (BFA) publishes an Annual Fintech Report which marks the achievements of the digital finance industry in the country. The Report deep dives into the Bulgarian Fintech financials for 2019, reveal the investments in the sector and presents the very first Bulgarian Fintech Mapping .

To reach a larger audience, the Report will be presented at the virtual conference “Bulgaria on the European Fintech Map”, organized by the BFA on 24th November, from 11 AM – 3 PM.

During the 4-hour event, BFA will present the Report 2020 and reveal the progress and place of the Bulgarian Fintech sector in Europe. The presentation will be followed by a couple of discussions on the present and future of digital finance technologies, COVID-19 and its impact on the Fintech sector, the new EU regulatory proposals, etc. Invited for the conference are the
Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Bulgaria, the European Commission, European Digital Finance Association, Mastercard, Paynetics, Paysera, Bulgarian-American Credit Bank, IUVO, Penkov, Markov and Partners, Credissimo and Klear.
