Zeleznice Srbije says Stadler files sole commercial bid for trainset supply contract

In the first phase of the tender, technical bids were also submitted by Alstom and Siemens, Zeleznice Srbije said in a statement.

The railway operator is getting 100 million euro ($129 million) from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to purchase new trainsets for regional transport.

Zeleznice Srbije should take delivery of the first trainset 18 months after the supply deal is signed.
