Zagreb share indices slide down, Ericsson Nikola Tesla leads blue-chip losers

December 15 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell for a third day in a row on Tuesday, with telecommunication equipment manufacturer Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT-R-A] pacing the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.

Ericsson Nikola Tesla's shares fell 2.03% to a close of 1,450 kuna, generating the single largest turnover among the blue chips - of 759,000 kuna, ZSE's daily report indicated.

Food producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] was the sole blue-chip winner for the day, gaining 1.26% to close at 483 kuna.

Out of ZSE's ten blue chips, seven closed lower on Tuesday, one rose, one ended the session flat and one did not trade.

ZSE's total trading turnover jumped to 19.9 million kuna ($3.2 million/2.6 million euro) on Tuesday from 7.4 million kuna on Monday, boosted by a 14.9 million kuna block deal in the shares of Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT].

An overal 83,354 Hrvatski Telekom shares changed hands at 179 kuna each in the deal. In regular trading, the company's stocks shed 0.83% to close at 178.50 kuna.

The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index lost 0.76% to 1,724.56 after dropping 0.35% on Monday.

The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, fell 0.61% to 1,075.82 on Tuesday after going down 0.48 % on Monday.
