Electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] led the blue-chip gainers on Tuesday, advancing 1.5% to close at 675 kuna in a volume of 105 traded shares.

There were no losers among the ZSE's 10 blue chips on Tuesday. Six of them closed higher, three ended unchanged and one did not trade.

Kras' popularity has increased following last month's announcement of a planned buyout bid by its largest single shareholder, meat producer Braca Pivac. Prior to the announcement, Kras' shares traded at below 400 kuna.

The ZSE's total trading turnover fell to 17.2 million kuna ($2.6 million/2.3 million euro), from 22.2 million kuna on Monday.

The ZSE's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index added 0.73% to 2,000.79 after gaining 2.10% in the previous trading session.

The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, increased 0.53% to 1,185.26 after growing 2.02% on Monday.

The fixed-income CROBIS index closed flat at 116.8100.
