Zagreb share indices rise, AD Plastik leads blue-chip gainers

December 18 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Friday, breaking a streak of five sessions in loss, with car parts maker AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] pacing the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.

AD Plastik's shares added 2.56% to a close of 160 kuna, ZSE's daily report indicated.

There were no losers among ZSE's ten blue chips on Friday, with eight of them closing higher and the remaining two ending the session flat.

Trading in the preferred shares of diversified conglomerate Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS2] generated the single largest turnover among the blue-chips - of 4.0 million kuna, with the stock price going up 0.82% to close at 370 kuna.

ZSE's total trading turnover fell to 10.9 million kuna ($1.8 million/1.4 million euro) on Friday from 13.3 million kuna on Thursday.

The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index gained 1.27% to 1,723.39 after dropping 0.70% on Thursday.

The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 1.13% to 1,074.43 on Friday after going down 0.57% on Thursday.
