Zagreb share indices recover, Koncar leads blue-chip winners

November 25 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) recovered on Wednesday, with electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] leading the blue-chip winners, bourse data showed.

Koncar's stocks rose 2.56% to a close of 600 kuna, ZSE data showed.

At the other end, the preferred shares of diversified conglomerate Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS2] led the blue-chip decliners, shedding 0.53% to close at 373 kuna.

Out of the ZSE's ten blue-chip companies, five ended Wednesday's session higher, two closed lower, two ended flat and one did not trade.

Tourism company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the largest turnover among the blue chips - of 1.15 million kuna, closing down 0.36% at 27.60 kuna.

ZSE's total trading turnover dropped to 7.5 million kuna ($1.2 million/992,000 euro) on Wednesday from 8.2 million kuna on Tuesday.

The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index added 0.53% to 1,699.22 after losing 0.34% on Tuesday.

The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, gained 0.62% to 1,061.69 on Wednesday after falling 0.50% on Tuesday.
