December 22 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) gained ground on Tuesday, with car parts maker AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] pacing the blue-chip winners, bourse data showed.
AD Plastik's shares rose 2.52% to a close of 163 kuna, ZSE's daily report indicated.
At the other end, telecommunication services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] led the blue-chip decliners by shedding 1.93% to close at 5.08 kuna.
Among ZSE's ten blue chips, six rose on Tuesday, two fell and two did not trade.
Trading in consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] generated the single largest turnover among the blue-chips - of 2.9 million kuna, with the stock price going up 1.55% to close at 1,310 kuna.
In addition, 2,000 Atlantic Grupa shares changed hands at 1,300 kuna each in a 2.6 million euro block deal.
Thus, ZSE's total trading turnover climbed up to 9.1 million kuna ($1.5 million/1.2 million euro) on Tuesday from 7.5 million kuna on Monday.
The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index gained 0.68% to 1,726.52 after dropping 0.50% on Monday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 0.94% to 1,077.65 on Tuesday after falling 0.64% on Monday.
