Zagreb share indices open week lower, AD Plastik paces blue-chip decliners

December 14 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell for a second consecutive session on Monday, with car parts maker AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] pacing the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.

AD Plastik's shares fell 2.45% to a close of 159 kuna, ZSE's daily report indicated.

At the other end, telecommunication services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] led the blue-chip winners by rising 1.52% to close at 5.34 kuna.

Out of ZSE's ten blue chips, four closed lower on Monday, five rose and one ended the session flat.

Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] generated the largest single turnover among the blue chips - of 1 million kuna, closing down 1.64% at 180 kuna.

In addition, 12,000 Hrvatski Telekom shares changed hands at 180 kuna each in a 2.16 million block deal.

ZSE's total trading turnover fell to 7.4 million kuna ($1.2 million/983,000 euro) on Monday from 12.7 million kuna on Friday.

The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index lost 0.35% to 1,737.68 after dropping 1.25% on Friday.

The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, fell 0.48% to 1,082.41 on Monday after going down 1.03% on Friday.
