Zagreb share indices lose ground, AD Plastik leads blue-chip losers

September 14 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell on Monday, with the manufacturer of plastic components for the automotive industry AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] pacing the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.

AD Plastik's shares lost 2.62% to a closing price of 130 kuna, as the company generated the ZSE's largest turnover for the day, of 1.5 million kuna, data showed.

Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] led the blue-chip gainers, closing 5.7% higher at 204 kuna.

The ZSE said last week it will exclude Atlantska Plovidba from the blue-chip CROBEX10 index, as of September 21.

Five of the ten blue chips on the ZSE rose on Monday while the other five fell.

The ZSE's total trading turnover increased to 5.7 million kuna ($898,000/756,000 euro) on Monday, compared to 5.1 million kuna on Friday.

The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index fell 0.08% to 1,608.78 on Monday after rising 0.22% on Friday.

The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, decreased by 0.27% to 996.55 after adding 0.52% on Friday.

The fixed-income CROBIS index closed 0.01% lower at 112.1321.
