Zagreb share indices close mixed, Atlantic Grupa leads blue-chip gainers

October 1 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed mixed for a second straight day on Thursday, with consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] leading the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.

Atlantic Grupa, which was the biggest blue-chip loser in the previous trading session, rose by 2.52%, closing at 1,220 kuna, ZSE data showed.

Electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] paced the blue-chip losers, after gaining the most in the previous trading session. Its share price fell 3.23% to 600 kuna.

Koncar Elektroindustrija generated the largest turnover among the blue chips on Thursday, of 573,485 kuna.

Five of the ten blue-chip companies on the ZSE rose on Thursday, four fell, and one closed flat.

The ZSE's total trading turnover edged up to 4.1 million kuna ($636,500/542,000 euro), from 4.0 million kuna on Wednesday.

The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index edged down 0.01% to 1,608.30 on Thursday after adding 0.04% on Wednesday.

The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, increased by 0.12% to 1,002.98 after losing 0.04% on Wednesday.

The fixed-income CROBIS index closed 0.01% lower at 112.2557.
