Zagreb office space vacancy seen rising up to 20% in three to six months – CBRE

It is expected that prime and secondary headline rents in the Croatian capital city will remain at the current levels of 15% and 10-12 euro ($12.9-$15.5) per square metre per month respectively, CBRE said in a statement.

With 20,400 square metres of competitive office stock leased out in the third quarter of 2012, office leasing activity hit a 2012 peak.

Despite stronger leasing activity, the overall vacancy rate incrased to almost 15% in the third quarter of the year. The total pipeline under construction stood at 135,000 square metres.

Approximately 72,000 square metres were due to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2012, and the remainder in the course of 2013.
