The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) added 0.69% to 1,750.67 points after rising 0.18% on Friday.
The narrower blue-chip index, the CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free-float, market capitalisation and liquidity on the ZSE, added 0.44% to 987.96 points.
The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, edged 0.44% lower in euro terms to 900.29.
Sugar maker Viro [ZSE:VIRO-R-A] posted the highest turnover of some 3.6 million kuna ($609,200/477,300 euro) among the CROBEX components. The stock added 0.21% to 526.12 kuna.
Power transmission equipment maker Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV-R-A] led the CROBEX gainers, rising 17.42% to 79.96 euro.
Civil engineering company Ingra [ZSE:INGR-R-A] led the CROBEX decliners, falling 6.31% to 3.12 kuna.
The bourse's total turnover in floor trading rose to 13.7 million kuna from 9.4 million kuna on Friday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed 0.18% lower at 103.0262 points.
The CROBIS Total Return bond index, which has the same components as the CROBIS and also includes accrued interest or interest payments, lost 0.16% to 120.5432 points.
