Zagreb bourse stock indices end up

December 19 (SeeNews) - The Croatian stock indices closed higher on Friday amidst a drop in total daily turnover, bourse data indicated.

Zagreb bourse stock indices end up

The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose 0.51% to 1,751.94 points after adding 0.35% on Thursday.

The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, was up 0.23% to a close of 1,008.75.

The CROX index, which tracks the eight most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, gained 0.27% in euro terms to 903.03.

ZSE's total turnover dropped to 7.37 million kuna ($1.18 million/961,000 euro) from 45.4 million kuna on Thursday.

Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A] generated the session's biggest turnover of 826,000 kuna, closing up 0.22% at 153.35 kuna.

Diversified holding company Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH-R-A] led the CROBEX gainers, rising 9.62% to 28.50 kuna.

Electrical equipment producer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI-R-A] paced the CROBEX decliners, sinking 0.86% to 690 kuna.

The fixed-income CROBIS index closed up 0.03% at 104.3046 points.
