Zagreb bourse stock indices close mixed

December 17 (SeeNews) - The Croatian stock indices closed mixed on Wednesday amidst a decrease in total daily turnover, bourse data indicated.

Zagreb bourse stock indices close mixed

The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell 0.05% to 1,736.90 points after losing 0.38% on Tuesday.

The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, was up 0.03% to a close of 1,006,.89.

The CROX index, which tracks the eight most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, gained 0.15% in euro terms to 905.11.

ZSE's total turnover fell to 8.0 million kuna ($1.3 million/1.04 million euro) from 13.8 million kuna on Tuesday.

Hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP-R-A] generated the session's biggest turnover of 1.36 million kuna, closing up 2.31% at 20.36 kuna.

Diversified holding company Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH-R-A] led the CROBEX gainers, rising 11.91% to 24.33 kuna.

Plastic goods maker AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL-R-A] paced the CROBEX decliners, sinking 5.36% to 92.75 kuna.

The fixed-income CROBIS index closed down 0.17% at 104.3740 points.
