October 2 (SeeNews) - The Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) said it will stop calculating its transport sector index, CROBEXtransport, as of October 15.

The calculation of the index will be discontinued since it remains with only one constituent company, shipping firm Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL], following the planned exclusion from the index of peer Uljanik Plovidba [ZSE:ULPL] as of October 14, ZSE said in a statement on Tuesday.

It added the decision reflects an extraordinary index revision made on October 1, prompted by news that Uljanik Plovidba had applied for the launch of pre-bankruptcy proceedings as part of a restructuring plan approved by its creditors.

ZSE started calculating CROBEXtran in February 2013. It closed down 13.2% at 644.80 points on Tuesday.
