ZABA, Podravka, Adris support growth of Croatia’s share indices

December 5 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange advanced on Tuesday, for a fourth day in a row, thanks by gains in Zagrebacka Banka, Podravka and Adris, despite a lower turnover, bourse data showed.

The 20-share benchmark CROBEX added 0.55% to end at 2.467,60 points.

The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, climbed 0.30% to close at 1,504.19 points.

Zagrebacka Banka (ZABA) [ZSE:ZABA] was the most traded company with a turnover of 244,300 euro ($264,000) as its shares rose 2.56% to 14 euro. They are part of the wider index.

Among the blue chips, shares of food and pharmaceutical manufacturer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] gained 1.29% to close at 157 euro a turnover of some 243,000 euro. Shares of electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] lost 1.07% to close at 185 euro in a turnover of 215,000 euro.

Preferred shares of diversified holding company [ZSE:ADRS2] appreciated 1.08% to close at 56 euro in a turnover of 85,200 euro.

The regular bourse turnover fell to 1.9 million euro from 2.4 million euro on Monday.
