Yield on Bulgaria's 10-1/2-yr T-bonds falls to 3.45%

November 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's ten-and-a-half-year fixed-rate Treasury bonds produced a record low average weighted annual yield of 3.45%, the country's finance ministry said on Monday.

The yield achieved in the previous auction for ten-and-a-half-year government securities in September was 3.51%.

Dealers placed bids for 74.35 million levs ($49.3 million/38 million euro) worth of government debt paper against 55 million levs on offer, the ministry said in a statement.

The issue, which carries an annual coupon of 5.0% and matures on July 11, 2022, was sold at an average weighted price of 112.88 levs per 100 levs of par value, the central bank, which auctions government securities on behalf of the finance ministry, said in a statement on its website. The maximum annual yield was 5.53% and the minimum yield was 5.35%.
