In September, Corridor XI will reach Pozega and a new section towards Montenegro, to Boljare, will be built in two phases, infrastructure minister Goran Vesic said in a press release.

The region will be connected to the new motorway, which will completely change the way of life of the people, Vesic added.

Corridor XI will link Bari, the Montenegrin port of Bar, Belgrade and Bucharest. Corridor X links Salzburg, Austria, with the Greek Aegean port of Thessaloniki port, via Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and Macedonia.
