December 4 (SeeNews) - Croatian glass packaging manufacturer Vetropack Straza has signed an agreement to join KOER, the country’s virtual power plant, to actively contribute to the stability of the national energy supply sector and boost sustainability, KOER said on Monday.
"There are two solar power plants mounted on the roofs of warehouses of Vetropack Straza, generating overall 1 GWh electricity annually, which we use in the production of compressed air," KOER quoted Mario Berc, head of technology sector at Vetropack Straza, as saying in a press release.
KOER is a cloud-based power plant that aggregates capacities of various energy sources for the purpose of enhancing power generation and trading.
