Value of Macedonian Bank Card Transactions Falls 3.0% M/M in Nov - Table

December 22 (SeeNews) - The value of bank card transactions in Macedonia fell by 3.0% month-on-month to 7.730 billion denars ($180 million/126 million euro) in November, while the number of transactions dropped by a monthly 2.1%, central bank statistics showed.

On an annual basis, the value of bank card transactions increased by 9.1% in November, while the number of transactions went up by 10.9% to 2,260,211.

The number of credit cards in use in Macedonia amounted to some 1.267 million in November, 2.1% up from the previous month and 23.3% higher than a year earlier.
