ZAGREB (Croatia), October 9 (SeeNews) – Jones Lang LaSalle, the U.S. real estate services and investment management company, said it has signed a partnership agreement with Croatian property consultants Viridis Edificium.
The agreement will cover multiple service lines including capital markets, retail, office, industrial agency and valuation, Jones Lang LaSalle said in a statement posted on its website.
"I am delighted with this step into the Croatian and Balkans market. Whilst current interest in the region is relatively limited, we are convinced by the mid to long term prospects,” Jones Lang LaSalle’s Managing Director in Central and Eastern Europe, John Duckworth, said in the statement.
"Entering into an alliance with Jones Lang LaSalle is an important step for our company and a great privilege. By establishing a presence in Croatia and entering the Balkans region the market will finally benefit from healthy,” Viridis Edificium’s Managing Director, Renato Libric, was quoted as saying in the statement.
In southeast Europe, Jones Lang LaSalle has an office only in Romania, according to the company's website.
